Fertility and Women’s Health in Cambridge

Fertility & Women's Health

I have been through the pain of infertility. So I feel well-equipped to support other women struggling with their own symptoms of disconnection from their feminine source: fertility and women's health problems, like menstrual and gynaecological issues, menopause-related difficulties or general health and well-being concerns.

The source of our women's health problems is the distance that our efforts to survive in a linear world - pretending we are the same each day - have put between us and our fluid, cyclical feminine essence.

My Healing Formula

I offer you the essence of 18 years of my own personal experience - as a women navigating fertility difficulties (and discovering through them my road back to health), as a student of many healing disciplines for women, as a Yoga and Qigong practitioner and teacher, and as a complementary therapist specialising in fertility and women's health. And, above all, as a woman learning to be well in a competitive and linear world.

The key to success in healing is empowering you to take care of your own well-being.

This has been the main lesson of my own journey. Neither I nor any other therapist/doctor can 'sort you' nor offer you over-night miracle cures. But I can offer you a much greater gift - the precious tools to bring into your own life so you can play an active and central role in building your health, well-being and power day by day.

Pre-conception & Fertility

Planning to have a baby?

Having trouble conceiving?

Unable to maintaining your pregnancy?

Preparing for or going through fertility treatments?

Coming to terms with childlessness?

Whatever point you are at on your unique journey, I can support you.

My powerful, all-round mind-body approach will gently and naturally help you achieve fertile good health and greatly increase your chances of conceiving a healthy baby and of enjoying a problem-free pregnancy and birth.

But if your fertility journey is coming to end without a child, it will also help promote self-love, acceptance and an awareness of the possibility of fulfilment in this life by expressing your creative gifts in other ways.

Preconception Care

Whether or not you are having difficulty achieving a healthy pregnancy, cleansing, nourishing and preparing your body before trying to conceive is a vital step on the road to parenthood.

I cannot urge you strongly enough to follow a pre-conception plan of at least three months, ideally six. This will bring you into optimum balance and minimise the likelihood of difficulties by boosting your egg quality and turning your womb into a beautiful, safe, warm nursery that will give your baby a loving and healthy start in life.

Fertility: Take a Step Back

We all expect to conceive easily. I know from my own experience how it feels for that dream to be shattered - the pain, the frustration, the stress and the sense of being in limbo and all alone.

Perhaps you have been trying for years, done all the tests and maybe tried repeated rounds of assisted reproduction treatments (like IVF). Perhaps you have even tried alternative therapies like acupuncture. But nothing has made a difference. The only thing these repeated appointments and often stressful protocols have done is to add to a sense of being rushed, overwhelmed, imbalanced and detached from yourself.

At NurtureWorks, I encourage you to take a quiet step back and to find the missing link that is the key to restoring your natural fertility. Together we take the time to stop, to breath and to focus on therapies that relax, nourish, support, reconnect and bring balance in body and mind.

I can hear you saying, "I don’t have time for this!" - but it is precisely by taking that small step back that you greatly increase your chances of moving towards a healthy conception, with or without medical assistance.

For the secret of nurturing fertility is to bring positive change from the inside out so that harmony is restored.

We create our bodies minute by minute and cell by cell through every thought, every feeling, every action, every movement, every interaction we have and every piece of food we eat. While this may seem alarming, it is in fact deeply empowering for it allows us to take control of our health and our fertility and to take pro-active steps to reconnect with our own fertile source.

No therapist can you promise you success in your fertility quest. But I can promise to give you the nourishment and tools to ensure you have the best possible chance and the support and understanding that only someone who has been there can offer.

Other Women's Health Issues

Menstrual  or sexual difficulties?

Gynaecological problems?

Peri- or post-menopause dis-ease?

Other chronic health issue?

Feeling stuck, frustrated, anxious, sad etc?

It is my belief that our various women's health issues are just symptoms of imbalance that ultimately stem from the common source of disconnection from our feminine essence.

Whatever your particular issue, I can support you and help you to heal as you cultivate a loving, self-reverent relationship with yourself, your body and your womb space.

Our womb space (whether or not we have a physical womb) is the source of our well-being and fertility in its broadest sense. This powerful creative energy is not only meant for birthing children, but for birthing the unique gifts that each of us was born to bestow on the world in our own particular lives.

My Wise Womb Therapies

My mind-body healing approach is flexible and can be adapted to meet the needs of all women, whatever their particular issue - from fertility to general health. It brings together (in one-to-one or in group sessions, as single therapies or holistic packages):

And - and this is what sets my approach apart - I will also share with you the knowledge and tools to empower you to live in a way that boosts (rather than undoes) the benefits of our good work, that promotes (instead of weakens) your female health and your fertility.
