Women's Circles & Well-Woman Yoga
YOGA & QIGONG FOR WOMEN'S HEALTH
My Women's Circles and Well-Woman Yoga sessions in Cambridge are safe spaces for us women to heal and blossom by taking the time to step away from the cares, distractions and rush of our daily lives and to tune back into our bodies, our sensations and our deep rhythms, so we can remember who we really are.
My Women's Circle and my Well-Woman Yoga sessions are both nurturing spaces that bring together women of all ages in a friendly atmosphere of reverence, curious exploration and mutual support. Together, we embrace and celebrate our fluid feminine essence through gentle Yoga and Qigong movement and self-care practices.
The focus at Monday's Well-Woman Yoga class is on such nourishing movement practice, while Thursday's block-booking Women's Circle also includes mindful sharing and discussion.
Both are designed to reconnect us with our sisters, our energetic cycles, the goodness of our sensual bodies and the vitality of our original (sexual) energy. By reminding us of our rightness as natural beings, they gently loosen knots of shame, grief, trauma and neglect within us and bring us back into an accepting, loving and heedful relationship with ourselves, our bodies and our wise wombs.
They also promote energetic and hormonal balance and cultivate an optimum flow of blood and energy to our womb, ovaries and other organs nested in our pelvis.
In this way, my Women's Circles and Well-Woman Yoga classes both cultivate general female well-being and empowerment and heal any specific issues that any of us may bring along.
I highly recommend these sessions if you are looking for support with menstrual, fertility, menopausal or sexual issues or any chronic physical or emotional problems.
You are also so welcome to join us if you are generally 'well', but would like to explore, nourish and preserve your feminine essence and power.
If you are post-menopause, please don't presume you are too old to join us. Your presence in the Circle during your Second Spring would be a gift for us all.

How are your Well-Woman Yoga class and your Women's Circle different?
In terms of Yoga and Qigong practice, they are very similar.
But the Thursday Women's Circle is block booking only, so we can build an atmosphere of trust and support in the group as we take a little journey together. The Monday Well-Woman session is for women who perhaps cannot commit to coming each week or who prefer to focus on healing movement, rather than the other sharing and discussion aspects of the Circle.
The Circles run in cycles of five to eight sessions (following school half terms).
